ÂKalavani director to wed

It was like a silent storm Sargunam made his entry into the tinsel town with ÂKalavaniÂ, one of the very few Âgenuine hits of 2010. The director, who is now busy wth ÂVaagai Sooda VaaÂ, will enter wedlock soon.
The resident of Aambalapattu in Thanjavur district will marry Saranya, a resident of Sendangaadu, a nearby village. ÂItÂs an arranged marriage and I am happy with my parents choice, Sargunam says.
The filmmaker was so busy with ÂVaagai Sooda Vaa that he was even unable to attend the betrothal ceremony. ÂHowever I spoke to Saranya over phone and pacified her, he says with a smile.
Quite like ÂKalavaniÂ, ÂVaagai Sooda Vaa too has Vimal in the lead role. ÂThe film is set in the late 1960s, the director says, adding: ÂSaranya has watched Kalavani and she is impressed with my work.Â
